           Identify Your Values

           In order to find your purpose, it's important to understand what matters most to you. This can be accomplished by exploring the values that drive your decisions and actions. For example, if someone believes that honesty is an important value for him or her then this person might make decisions based on whether or not they are honest with themselves and others around them.

           The first step to finding your purpose is to explore your passions and talents. If you don't know what you're passionate about, it's time to start asking yourself some questions:

            What do I enjoy doing?

           If there are things that make you happy, then chances are they're related to something that could be useful or helpful in some way. That might mean a career path or even just an activity outside of work (like volunteering). The key here is figuring out how these things can help other people--and then choosing something based on those criteria.

    &lt;/span&gt;&#xD;
  &lt;/p&gt;&#xD;
  &lt;p&gt;&#xD;
    &lt;br/&gt;&#xD;
  &lt;/p&gt;&#xD;

           Set Goals and Create a Plan

           Now that you've clarified your values, it's time to set goals. Goals are specific and measurable. They help you focus on what matters most in life and make sure that you're moving forward towards meaningful things.

  &lt;p&gt;&#xD;
    &lt;br/&gt;&#xD;

           Setting SMART goals is a great way to begin:

  &lt;p&gt;&#xD;

            Your goal should be clear and easy to understand--for example, "I want to run a marathon" or "I want my business to grow by 10% this year."

            You can measure whether or not your goal has been achieved by looking at numbers or other quantifiable factors--for example, if someone says their goal was "to improve their health," then they could track their weight loss over time as evidence of progress toward their goal (or lack thereof). *

           Actionable:
          &#xD;

            A good goal will motivate action; otherwise it might just sit around collecting dust! Make sure each step along the way leads directly towards fulfilling the larger purpose behind why we set these kinds of objectives in the first place (e.g., improving our health so we don't get sick as often).
           &#xD;
      &lt;/span&gt;&#xD;
    &lt;/span&gt;&#xD;
  &lt;/p&gt;&#xD;
  &lt;p&gt;&#xD;
    &lt;span&gt;&#xD;
      &lt;span&gt;&#xD;

    &lt;/span&gt;&#xD;

            Realistic:

           Setting unrealistic expectations may lead us down paths where there isn't enough support available - either within ourselves or externally - which means we'll end up feeling discouraged when things don't go according with plan because there wasn't much thought put into whether those plans were feasible from day one.
          &#xD;
    &lt;/span&gt;&#xD;
  &lt;/p&gt;&#xD;
  &lt;p&gt;&#xD;
    &lt;br/&gt;&#xD;
  &lt;/p&gt;&#xD;
  &lt;p&gt;&#xD;
    &lt;span&gt;&#xD;
      &lt;span&gt;&#xD;
        
            Time-bound:
           &#xD;
      &lt;/span&gt;&#xD;
    &lt;/span&gt;&#xD;
    &lt;span&gt;&#xD;
      
           Every goal needs a target date, so that you have a deadline to focus on and something to work toward.  Setting a deadline or due date for the completion of your goals is imperative, as it helps to prevent everyday tasks from taking priority over your longer-term goals.
          &#xD;
    &lt;/span&gt;&#xD;
  &lt;/p&gt;&#xD;
  &lt;p&gt;&#xD;
    &lt;br/&gt;&#xD;
  &lt;/p&gt;&#xD;
  &lt;p&gt;&#xD;
    &lt;span&gt;&#xD;
      
           Find Your Support System
          &#xD;
    &lt;/span&gt;&#xD;
  &lt;/p&gt;&#xD;
  &lt;p&gt;&#xD;
    &lt;span&gt;&#xD;
      
           One of the best ways to find meaning and fulfillment in life is to build a support system. A support system can be made up of family members, friends and acquaintances who will encourage and motivate you when you're feeling discouraged or unmotivated.
          &#xD;
    &lt;/span&gt;&#xD;
  &lt;/p&gt;&#xD;
  &lt;p&gt;&#xD;
    &lt;br/&gt;&#xD;
  &lt;/p&gt;&#xD;
  &lt;p&gt;&#xD;
    &lt;span&gt;&#xD;
      
           In addition to these people, it's important that you join a community where like-minded individuals gather together to share ideas and create new opportunities for each other. Joining groups on social media or attending meetups are great ways to connect with like-minded people who share similar interests as well as goals for their lives (and yours).

    &lt;/span&gt;&#xD;
  &lt;/p&gt;&#xD;
  &lt;p&gt;&#xD;
    &lt;br/&gt;&#xD;
  &lt;/p&gt;&#xD;
  &lt;p&gt;&#xD;

           If building a support system isn't enough motivation for finding meaning in your life then ask yourself this question: What would happen if I stopped doing what makes me happy? If the answer isn't something positive then maybe it's time for some changes!

    &lt;/span&gt;&#xD;
  &lt;/p&gt;&#xD;
  &lt;p&gt;&#xD;
    &lt;br/&gt;&#xD;
  &lt;/p&gt;&#xD;
  &lt;p&gt;&#xD;
    &lt;span&gt;&#xD;
      
           Be Open to Change and Adapt
          &#xD;
    &lt;/span&gt;&#xD;
  &lt;/p&gt;&#xD;
  &lt;p&gt;&#xD;
    &lt;span&gt;&#xD;
      
           If you're going to find your purpose, you'll need to be open to change and adapt. This means learning how to accept new ideas, opportunities and situations as they come your way.
          &#xD;
    &lt;/span&gt;&#xD;
  &lt;/p&gt;&#xD;
  &lt;p&gt;&#xD;
    &lt;br/&gt;&#xD;
  &lt;/p&gt;&#xD;
  &lt;p&gt;&#xD;

           To find meaning in your life, you need to make time for reflection. This is the only way that you can truly understand how far along you've come and what works for you.

    &lt;/span&gt;&#xD;
  &lt;/p&gt;&#xD;
  &lt;p&gt;&#xD;
    &lt;br/&gt;&#xD;
  &lt;/p&gt;&#xD;
  &lt;p&gt;&#xD;
    &lt;span&gt;&#xD;
      
           You can do this by taking some time out of each day for yourself--even if it's just five minutes. Take this time to reflect on what has happened during the day and how that affected your mood or state of mind. Think about whether there were any opportunities for growth or improvement (and if so, what those might be). Consider whether there were any obstacles along the way that hindered progress toward achieving goals set earlier in the week or month. Finally, look ahead at upcoming tasks and consider where they fit into long-term plans--and whether they are truly worth doing at all!

    &lt;/span&gt;&#xD;
  &lt;/p&gt;&#xD;
  &lt;p&gt;&#xD;
    &lt;br/&gt;&#xD;
  &lt;/p&gt;&#xD;

           Now that you have some ideas about what your purpose is, it's time to take action. The most important thing is to make the most of your time and stay motivated so that you can achieve your goals.

  &lt;/p&gt;&#xD;
  &lt;p&gt;&#xD;
    &lt;br/&gt;&#xD;
  &lt;/p&gt;&#xD;
  &lt;p&gt;&#xD;
    &lt;span&gt;&#xD;
      
           Here are some tips:
          &#xD;
    &lt;/span&gt;&#xD;
  &lt;/p&gt;&#xD;
  &lt;p&gt;&#xD;
    &lt;br/&gt;&#xD;

  &lt;p&gt;&#xD;

           Make a list of all the things on which you want to focus in order to achieve your goal(s). This can include planning out how often and how long each task will take, as well as creating a realistic schedule for yourself based on those estimates. You may also want to write down any obstacles or challenges that might come up along the way so that they don't catch you by surprise later on!

    &lt;/span&gt;&#xD;
  &lt;/p&gt;&#xD;
  &lt;p&gt;&#xD;
    &lt;br/&gt;&#xD;
  &lt;/p&gt;&#xD;

           Start small--the idea here isn't necessarily about getting everything done right away but rather making progress towards achieving those goals over time (and having fun while doing so). So if there's something small-but-important like learning how not only where but also why certain things work (like how does gravity work?), then go ahead and start there first!

  &lt;/p&gt;&#xD;

           Be Patient and Persevere

           One of the most important things you can do is to be patient and persevere. It's easy to get discouraged when we don't see results right away, but progress takes time. Don't give up on yourself or your goals just because you don't see them immediately!

  &lt;p&gt;&#xD;
    &lt;br/&gt;&#xD;
  &lt;/p&gt;&#xD;

           In addition to patience and perseverance, it's important that you stay positive throughout this process. When we are feeling down about ourselves or our situation in life, it can be hard not only on us but also on those around us--and they may not even know why they're feeling so bad! So try your best not only for yourself but also for those around you who care about what happens with your life (and vice versa).
